Don't look too closely at the nailhead or the trim...neither one of them is perfect but I love how it turned out and I'm excited to make a slipcover for it to stay nice! (Notice my adorable lounging toddler in pic two!)

I love it! It looks great! Good job on finishing!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous!!! Good job, Kels!
ReplyDeleteOk, so I know I already commented, but I just have to say that I have the cutest nephew ever!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job...what a transformation! You must be so proud!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the little scooter cute!?!?!? I love his hair! It made me laugh- I remember when my younger daughter had the chick fuzz hair...anyway, why was I here, oh yeah, to tell you I like the chair ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of fabric did you use?
Your chair looks great! I'm happy for you. And that little fella is a cutie! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked my candlestick birdbath. Good luck finding two pieces to "marry". Keep me posted.

Thanks so much for linking up to Favorite Things Friday! I love what you did with the chair, and I love that you aren't a perfectionist!! I'm not either! It looks great.
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of using drop cloth for furniture- what a great idea! I love the nailhead trim!

MUCH improved! Great job. (Adorable baby!)
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! How did you do the trim?
ReplyDeleteOk, you're too hard on yourself! You just upholstered a chair for crying out loud! It looks so beautiful...I'm getting ready to do the same thing, so thank you for the inspiration! Found you through Shabby Nest; so very glad I did. (If it's okay, I'll be featuring you and your chair on my blog on my Saturday Shout Out!) Great job and nice to meet you -shaunna :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks great and I love the fabric book holder! More than anything though, your TODDLER is so sweet looking:) Precious. Come visit and see how quickly they grow:(
ReplyDeleteI think you did a good job. It is hard huh? I learned a lot from mine too. I think that is what is great about attempting something new. You always know what to do different the next time. I know I learned a lot! I wish I had thought to wash my drop cloth first. Did it make it softer?
ReplyDeleteDid you steal my aunt's chair? ;) It looks great-- who would've thought you could re-upholster with a drop cloth?!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job! Funny, I was just talking with my Mom the other day about looking into DIY upholstering an old chair for my daughter's big girl room, when the time comes. I may come back to you for some pointers. :)
